A little bit about us
We are a not-for-profit fitness group for all ages and abilities, with qualified coaches, Â offering lots of varied activities for fitness, fun and socialising!
We offer circuits, running, walking, High intensity (HIIT), pilates, gentle exercise, yoga and sprint sessions that are all very low cost at ÂŁ2 each (with absolutely no membership fees!).Â
As well as helping with physical fitness, we very much believe that even a little bit of exercise can have positive benefits to mental health and wellbeing.
We hold regular events in Manchester, making use of the great parks that are right on our doorstep! We also enter organised events such as the Manchester 10k, Dales Walk, Tough Mudders Runs and more.
Variety is the spice of life!
Our circuits sessions are very varied to keep things interesting! They can include activities such as boxercise and have different aims like ‘fat burning’ or ‘bums and tums’.
All the pilates sessions include some Zumba dancing and we change the exercises regularly, using hand weights/resistance bands/tennis balls to make every week a bit different.

I joined North Manchester Fitness almost 12 months ago now and have never looked back! The intention was to keep fit, although I’m not a fanatic! Make new friends and see where it leads me, 12 months on I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed the variety of sessions the group leaders provide. You can do something every evening if you wanted to, or pick certain evenings or day sessions, whatever suits. All ages all abilities, from walking/jogging groups, to Boot Camp to exercise classes. Most of all, the people I have met over the past 12 months are brilliant, what a lovely sociable group. I always look forward to meeting up with them.Kim
