PILATES with Lorraine Platt
2pm – 3pm, St.John Bosco’s Church Hall, Charlestown Road, Blackley, Manchester M9 7BD
Pilates is a form of gentle exercise which concentrates on balance, mobility and core strengthening. It can be standing or chair-based, depending on your mobility and is fully inclusive and open to all abilities. If you have exercises given to you by a physiotherapist, we can work through these with you.
A fun session which includes a section of cardio/vascular exercise which could be Zumba, Belly-dancing or Rock ‘n’ roll and all with great music. We always finish the Pilates session with a few minutes of total relaxation followed by a cup of tea/coffee and a chat.

RUN/JOG with Tommy Brown
9am – 10am, Tesco, Victoria Avenue East, Blackley M9 6HP (free parking)
Runners or walkers are all welcome – beginners or returners, all ages, all abilities.
Please wear suitable trainers and kit for the session – you don’t have to go out and buy anything new, give us a call for advice first!

Sprint training can burn fat, build muscle and boost your metabolic rate! Why not give it a go, all abilities welcome.
